★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cake was hot while being put into the paper box. It showed “follow the instructions printed on the box” but the instructions were no where to be seen. The staff did not say anything while handing over the cake. The cake then went soggy! The flavour was average, not as good as what it was described in the reviews. This is definitely the shop to avoid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A well-know delicacy in Taichung. The texture of the cake tastes pretty smooth and fluffy, which is kinda rare for a sponge cake like this. Honey tastes a bit too sweet for me, recommend to have it along a cup of tea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most amazing castella cake you will ever have! My family has been eating this for over 20+ years now and it’s still just as good as before. I much prefer to have it when it’s cold and been refrigerated. Nicer texture and you are able to peel off the whole piece of cake from the sheets.
