Otherwise a cool spot.
The MSG overload is disappointing because the place could otherwise be great.
I requested none — the chef denied using it — meanwhile my allergic reaction does not lie.
MSG is all too familiar in cheap Asian restaurants, did not expect it here. Disappointed.

2.Staff keep interrupting our dinner to take away empty plates cutting us in the middle
3. The waitress do not speak English, she looked at us and expect us to realise she can’t understand
4. At least for me, no staff in the restaurant is friendly to customers. The service is very poor.
Overall, the dining experience is terrible.
Due to all above reason, even though the food is ok, I will not go back again.

I don’t write reviews normally but this place really deserves five stars.
(An English menu would be a great improvement but the waitress advised me well on what I should order, so per se it wasn’t a big problem!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In food and beverage industry, You guys should know if any guest like to sit on the counter, we are looking for some interaction, which means guests are enjoy to see the actions, engaging with you guys and have a fun time. But what I experienced tonight is totally ruining my day.
I’m ok to follow your rules but you guys have no service at all !!!!
Please do take service seriously because that is a part of how to be a good restaurant in any way.
P.S the only star is for the young chef.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very authentic izakaya-style establishment with a nice selection of sakes, sparkling sakes, nigori etc. Skewers were also amazing, all freshly prepared in front of you if you sit at the bar. We also managed to engage in some conversation with busy staff. Really recommended if you are mature and disciplined enough to adhere to some small rules.
Too bad that no photos allowed inside, because the interior really has an atmosphere.
