推動2處休憩平台及步道系統再造，其中以楊梅茶業改良場為主題的休憩區，設計包括：茶葉造型的抿石子地坪、茶壺茶杯造型的休息區、茶農公仔及解說牌等設施；另一休憩區則以客家夥房-千頃第黃屋為主題，規劃包括：具有紅磚意象的觀景平台及腳踏車駐車區、千頃第意象解說牌及三合院意象座椅等。而步道系統則以歷史發展為主題，將在地文化、歷史、生態轉化成形象圖騰，設計包括安平鎮庄村徽、車站郵戳、萍蓬草等當地特色地磚，期盼串聯鐵馬網路及周邊觀光資源，打造兼具在地特色及旅遊品質的休閒遊憩路網。

66橋下這端，緊鄰三座土地公廟，是一大特點，有橋樑連接，方便參拜拜訪。還有就是有278年歷史的八字圳，是桃園臺地的重要歷史遺跡，因圳道分水處形如八字而得名。其創建於清乾隆9年，西元1744年，為宋氏族人築壩攔水灌溉，面積廣達百甲良田。

The end of the 66 bridge is adjacent to three earth temples, which is a major feature. It is connected by bridges, which is convenient for visiting. There is also the Bazi Shenzhen with a history of 278 years. It is an important historical site in Taoyuan Terrace. It was founded in the 9th year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty and in 1744 AD, it built a dam for the Song clan to block water for irrigation, covering an area of 100 Jia fertile fields.

Bazizhen Shui'an Park, located at the intersection of Laojie Creek and Tai 66, has a wide field of vision, beautiful scenery, tranquility and peace. The trail is well planned, green pastoral, streams, egrets, natural ecology. From the River Education Center to the Shuian Park, walking and biking are both suitable, and it is worth taking a break!
