★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 永續發展協會的前身是台灣企業永續發展委員會，成立於八十四年十二月，原是台北市地坊景觀文化保護協會下的一個組織，工作範圍涵蓋研究國內自然生態之保護，研訂具環保效率之企業管理方針，宣導有關環保之教育，推動有關國內資源回收再生之計劃，譯介國際上有關環保和永續發展之資訊等。
The predecessor of the Sustainable Development Association is the Taiwan Enterprise Sustainable Development Committee. It was established in December of 1984. It was originally an organization under the Taipei City Landscape and Cultural Protection Association. The scope of work covers the study of the protection of domestic natural ecology. We will provide an environmentally-friendly corporate management policy, promote education on environmental protection, promote plans for recycling domestic resources, and translate international information on environmental protection and sustainable development.
