Soup was just average for Taipei standard
Noodle was a disappointment - like many mentioned before me .... They overcooked the noodle.
Could have been a solid 4 star if they didn't mess up the noodle

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After learning the story behind the making of the beefs and eating the NT$10,000 beef noodle, I find it is well worth every cent. There's no other Taiwanese style beef noodle shop can compare with it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taipei is full of beef noodles restaurants, as cheap as less than NT$100 to what's offered here, NT$10,000 a bowl. Well, we were not ready to chow down $10,000 for a bowl at one time, so, went with the basic, $500/bowl. It was quite good, there were several diff. cuts of beef but all cooked to the proper textures and flavorful. The soup was tasty, a bit on the heavier side, quite delicious. One could "taste" the amount of efforts it took to get the flavor. The thin noodles, though not my favorite kind, soaked up the flavors of the soup. Overall, though some what expensive as compared to most other beef noodles, I felt it had reasonable CP considering the amont of beef and quality of the flavors!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great atmosphere, not many tables so there is alot of space to enjoy these above averagely priced noodles. I honestly preferred the dry noodles which had the pig trotter and also came with a bowl of the beef noodle broth- best of both worlds. the beef is fall apart tender and the tendon is the perfect softness, easy to bite through without being too jelly like. at 500ntd i would go again.

i tried the 1500 TWD noodles.
I have never enjoy the meal like this dish.
It is so satisfactory for me to drink every spoon of soup.
The soup is concentrated with the cow taste??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only 4 tables, better come early, you can smell the aroma as soon as door opened. No doubt the best beef noodle after everything we tried from South to North Taiwan. Don't get puzzled by the price, there are approachable ones starting from 500NT.
