The name Beichang Elementary School is really special. In fact, because the residents of the campus used to farm and raise ducks for their livelihoods in the early days, the school site was formerly called "Duck's Mother's Liao." Originally the Beichang branch of Yichang Elementary School, it was approved to establish an independent school in September 1985. It was named Beichang Elementary School in Ji'an Township, Hualien County. The county government sent Mr. Jian Dingguo as the first principal. Over the past 50 years, the number of classes has increased from 5 to 32. Sheng'an Village and Beichang Village have also become increasingly prosperous, moving into a large population, and gradually forming a new business district. Later, due to the declining birthrate, the number of classes was reduced and fixed to today’s 27 classes. It was also restricted to the full school for primary one freshmen. Due to social changes, new residents have been added to the school, which has become a diversified campus for students.

I love Beichang Both sons are studying Beichang. From Beichang Elementary School to one of Hualien’s best schools, the principal, director, and teacher are very diligent in running the school.
