Beichen Market is the largest market in Magong City, and also the largest market in Penghu. It is a necessary place for purchasing life! The Beichen Market area was called Tucheng in the early days. In 1966, because the cultural and recreational market was not enough, it was planned to be a new type of market. Because the market moved from south to north, the population gradually increased. North gather. It was planned and constructed in 1972. It is a 2-storey building with a base of about 1038 pings, a total of 179 booths, and a two-storey building. The first floor of the building is for selling all kinds of vegetables, fruits and seafood, and the second floor is the meat sales area. Completed in 1973, it is currently the largest market in Penghu; it is a necessary place for county residents to purchase. The lively scene can be seen everywhere, the crowd is endless, and the hawkers are screaming one after another. A vegetable market on an outlying island, vividly showing the dependence and self-sufficiency of Penghu people. Magong Beichen Market is the heart of Penghu and the most important market in Magong City. Covering a vast area, there are many vendors in it, and there are all kinds of ingredients. There are a lot of people coming and going in the market, and there are also a lot of people queuing up. From dinner to dim sum, almost every meal is the king of popularity. Simple ingredients bring out the freshness and deliciousness, coupled with the warm and friendly smiles and attitudes of Penghu people, Beichen Market is a must-visit place when you come to Penghu. Going to the vegetable market is a very good way to experience the local life. Hualuomi likes to walk around. If you have extra time on the way to play, you will definitely go to the local vegetable market. Today, my daughter-in-law in Penghu wants to take you to the largest traditional market in Penghu, Beichen Market. Beichen Market is located on Beichen Street in Magong City, which can be regarded as a vegetable market in the city center. It is not far from another well-known Wenkang market. Beichen Market is very large, whether you want to buy vegetables, fruits, seafood, cooked food, all kinds of meat, or even groceries or clothes and shoes that you will use at home, there are everything here. But today, Hua Lomi especially wants to show you some things that are relatively rare on the island of Taiwan. For example, this grandma is digging snail meat, which is called a screw by the locals, which is a kind of small snail meat. Grandma's hands and feet are very neat, and her hands never stop.
