★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Free museum and pretty smallish. You can see when it was still used as Japanese style hot spring many year ago.
You need to take off your shoes to explore the place. Indoor slippers are provided.

As part of a go to place to experience the colonial era Taiwan, this place is really well maintained so to serve as a centerpiece of the tourist destination. It’s surrounded by more modern spring hotel.
It held exhibition from time to time.
You can plan a weekend to have the fullest of what’s offered, along with the Library, thermal valley, and some local cuisine.
