Located in New Beitou, Taipei City and next to Beitou Hot Spring Museum, the "Beitou Children's Paradise" cannot be compared with the current theme parks in Taiwan, but regardless of Leofoo Village, Jianhu Mountain World, Jiu Aboriginal Culture Village, Ocean Park, E-Da, Li It is impossible to replace the century-old glory of Beitou Children's Paradise! Beitou Children's Park was originally named "Public Baths Affiliated Amusement Park". It was completed in 1916 during the Japanese occupation. Planned amusement park. However, it is a pity that the park has been deserted for a long time. In 2011, the Taipei City Government re-planned and designed the "Beitou Children's Park" with the thinking of "renovating the old, restoring the old, and nostalgic", and it was completed in 2013. Since then, due to the cooperation with the Taipei City Government's 2015-2018 "Beitou Regeneration Project" and the continuous promotion of the Beitou Wallless Museum (Eco-museum) development plan, the "Beitou Children's Paradise" has undergone some changes, but the only thing remains the same. The one that must not be dismantled is the "Century Grinding Stone Slide". There are also amusement facilities such as swings, balance beams, jumping beds and 2 pavilions. In addition, the air-raid shelter and 11 "vent holes" that look like huge honeycombs or large earthen kilns, as well as the towering "Jiu Xiong Tree", the god of the park, are also features of the park. There are 4 entrances and exits to the park. If you exit from Xinbeitou MRT Station, go straight up Zhongshan Road It only takes 3-4 minutes to reach the west entrance, you will see it on the left after passing the Ketagalan Museum. Entering from the west entrance is more adventurous, winding up first through the quiet air-raid shelter area (there are 11 large mounds of stomata), and then to the century-old slide; the middle is the main entrance, and going straight up the stairs from the main entrance is the century-old slide , swing recreation area; there are 2 at the east entrance, children's favorite facilities are here, and there are 2 taps in this area for tourists who need cleaning. The place is sparsely populated on weekdays, quite quiet, and it is a micro-secret realm of tranquility amid the hustle and bustle. It is very suitable to come here to bask in the sun and stretch your muscles.

Small park with a few swings and slides, 3 stone slides with 2 blocked up, kids and adults take turns sliding, the structure is better than other stone slides, as it doesn't hit your butt as hard. To avoid the stairs, there's a slope on the left side.

This park is more than 100 years old. It was recently rebuilt but still kept its nostalgic feel.

The playground for kids is quite small. Check out the intriguing conical structures, which I later found out were air vents for the underground bomb shelters that were constructed in the area back in the day.
