★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No indoor dining due to electricity outage. Got a full slab of ribs, some briskets and burnt end sandwich to go. Not sure if due to the wrapping, the ribs were too wet, texture was great, meat came off the bones easily, a bit too sweet flavor wise for me. The burnt ends also were way too sweet. The briskets were sliced too thinly and hence, lost some texture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down the best BBQ on the island! Owner’s are super friendly and really made me feel like I was back in the States. You MUST order the ribs! It’s the only ribs I’ve had in Taiwan that doesn’t require a knife! That’s how you know it’s the real deal. Also, their homemade sauces are out of this world. Highly highly recommend.

Although the food is a little bit too sweet for Taiwanese poeple, the taste overall is extremely close to perfect, especially the roast ribs and that fxxking wonderful pickles. Plus, all staff are hospitable, and I like this restaurant sooo much.Please open another branch asap, Nangang dist is too far for me hahaha.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic authentic Midwestern bbq! The whole atmosphere is amazing too with excellent service. Highly recommend the burnt ends and coleslaw. Mac&cheese wasn't as rich and creamy as you find in the US, but good enough. Be sure to arrive right when store opens to make sure you get the burnt ends. Food runs out quickly so chances are you'll miss out if you arrive late afternoon. I'm hoping they open a branch closer to the city!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good American BBQ. Nice sauce selection - including “fire in a bottle”. Sides were pretty good - more home style and flavor than traditional.
Decent amount of seating. A bit noisy but gotta expect that.
Ribs were done well. A bit dry. Pulled pork was tasty. Also a bit dry. So the sauce comes in handy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having heard about the Bogarts brand from one of their resellers in Taipei, I had to try their food from the source. Definitely the best brand for barbeque in Taipei at a great price. Hunter and the team care about their customers and made us feel very welcome. Meat was fresh and tender and the sides were on point. Will come back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down the best bbq on the island. The staff were friendly and helpful. The owner was friendly, too, you can tell he isn’t passionate about what he does. You should definitely order the ribs. They are juicy, tender and full of flavor. You don’t need a knife to cut them. The brisket sandwich was amazing as well. The sides were great! There are four different kinds sauces on the table. All with uniquely different flavors. If you want more of a kick just ask the staff, and they’ll bring you something hotter.
Make sure you go early, because they can sell out quickly.
