My appointment was at 12, they were very nice to let me in 10 mins earlier. In the beginning of her service, everything was fine then incident happened- the store manager kept saying how bad condition my USD1200 mulberry bag is, I thought it’s not as bad as she said but she’s right about something - some of the studs are off. Then she touched one of the remains studs and it came off the bag. I asked her how come she’s not wearing gloves, she went “ I rarely wear gloves when I do bags inspection.” Her initial reaction was just an apology. I asked her how and what is she going to fix this problem, she just kept telling me she’s sorry. But this made me even more upset, because first of all she told me Mulberry bags in the second hand markets don’t have good price, and now a stud came off because her bare hand touched it. So when I confronted her, she even went “ because this bag is already in a bad shape.” So I told her no, I want more than an apology. Then she called her boss, but instead of talking to her boss in mandarin or English, she spoke in Japanese, well I was even more upset. So I demanded that I’d like to speak/ Skype with the boss. Her boss was very understanding and also took the responsibility immediately- he said he will pay me TWD 1k more to fix the stud, also apologised for her stuff (the ximen store manager) that she should be wearing gloves during the bag inspection. The whole experience was upsetting and disappointing, and she’s not the suitable for doing this role as a store manager and I will not come back again to this branch.
