H	Heinrich Klaus on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff is extremely discourteous and doesn't seem to understand Operational English. I've related the matter to their HQ in Great Britain regarding poor command in English of the staff at their office in Taiwan. This sorta inadequacy shall be held in the MOST SERIOUS REGARD. Could you imagine someone who works at the concierge at the British Council couldn't even speak fluent English?? I have asked their UK office at Bridgewater House to look into the matter.
W	W L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very expensive tuition but quite often you would still see teachers and assistant teachers shouting at students or making very unfriendly comments to the kids. Very unfriendly make-up class policy - you can not have any makeup class if you miss anything only if you are sick, or someone in your family passes away. Think before you sign up. (Updated) British Council - I appreciate your response but no, I will not leave you my contact information. If you do record conversations with customer as you state on the hotline, then you should be find out who I am as I already called and made clear about my concerns over a certain teacher and teaching assistant but never got your formal response. That's why I had to post publicly. What a shame.

I've learned with 5 teachers, and they all are professional in guiding me on how to talk in different situations. Also, I like the course material and monthly social activity very much. We can learn various topics in our class and outing activities. British Council helps to get English learning into my life!

I was nervous when I first came to the British Council, but the condition has improved. The teacher was not as strict as I imagined. We learned phrases through playing games like Taboo and listening to music. It was the first time that I found that learning English is not that hard. Teachers are willing to help students who have difficulties; their patience and passionate made me feel relax helping me to join the class activities as much as I can. I love these lessons so much! It is not only about learning English, but also for friendship between teachers and classmates.

The small class sizes lend themselves to a great learning environment and you do learn very quickly. I have seen my English progress at a far faster rate than I expected, just need to keep going now!

The flexible course time can help the learners to optimize their study plan and process. The location of office is also easy to be reached by public transportation. I think it will be grateful if they can provide more classes in the afternoon during the week day.
