★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything is fine except our first room's air conditioning didn't work, so we were burnt up for 6 hours before they switched us to another room. Then it was all good. Oh, yeah, the bath tub is on the small and narrow side, so if you're someone who enjoys taking a relaxing bath, this wouldn't work for you. The night manager, Mr. Chen was very professional and polite. The hotel's location is great. The hotel's been around for a long time, but you really can't tell because it's been updated beautifully.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good hotel. The rooms are not spacious but have everything needed in a business trip. WC are Japanese stile. The location is very convenient and the food selection is awesome. There are many different restaurants in the first floor. One think inconvenient is the fitness center. It closes early in the evening and open late in the mornings. I had to take the streets to do my usual running sessions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a regular to this hotel. Clean, comfortable and very generous room size (for Taipei). Price is also extremely reasonable and dinning is true Taiwanese flavour. Location is also super convenient. Two MRT lines at the door step!
Don’t be put off by elderly staff at the door, most employees have worked their all their life! Speaking to them, they said the owner is very kind and generous. Thus, people are happy to stay and one manager I met has worked there for over 30 years!
The highlight is full Japanese bathroom and newly renovated interior. It’s an old hotel and old brand (they have one of the top baseball team in Taiwan), but they are still good as gold!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a big meal here. It was great, but it’s a Chinese style big family thing. It’s not really ideal for one person. But if you are getting married or something, it’s good to take the family of the person here. This traditional style makes the elderly happy. Make them happy and you are a winner!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Renovated traditional 4 star hotel with great service and location(right outside a MRT station).It guarantees relaxing accommodation and dining experience. Unfortunately, there is not many choices for the breakfast buffet, which consists of 80% Chinese food( some slightly oily stir fried dishes) and 20% to western (mostly in room temperature and therefore taste slightly unpleasant). It will be beneficial for the hotel to consider some improvement on that.
