We booked a car for 3 days (72hrs) from KKDay apps. The price is reasonable and more so if you have promo code. The car (Ford Focus) is clean and low milage. We took a one way option (return in Taichung) which cost TW$1500. They had 200km/day milage limit. But we somehow gone extra and had double the milage allowance. But the extra cost TW$2/km is considered cheap IMO. And the e-tag (toll fees) are also cheap in Taiwan. For 3days and we had drove on several paid toll road, it only cost us TW$300. For those 1200km we drove, our fuel costed us around TW$1800. The Zouying THSR pick-up address given in the apps/website is 298-1 Gaotie Road. And we came around 7pm, but nobody there. As my phone is data only sim, I cannot made any calls. So I decided to ask KKDay for help thru private messanger. They responded asap and help me to get thru with Budget Car Rental staffs. And around 8pm, a staff came and took us to 35-1 Wenfu Road which is just 300m away from where we were waiting. Only then it hit me that both Avis and Budget Car Rental is managed together by a company in Taiwan.
