Friendly staff, nice ramen and reasonable price. It’s worth visiting again!

A small (approx. 16 seats), quiet, open- kitchen restaurant located in the heart of the city. I will definitely come back if I ever crave for ramen! You can’t find anything better for the price. There is a sign-in sheet by the door, the waiter will call on your name once your table is ready. We arrived at around 8pm on a weekday, and waited 10- 15 mins to be seated. There were four types of ramen (pork broth) with four types of noodles to choose from. There’s also a self serve food station in the back where you can get bean sprouts, chilli, and scallions. Me and my friend shared ramen #1 with EXTRA EVERYTHING for additional $100, a side of fried chicken, and an extra egg. They are very timely at delivering our food. The broth was good and chicken was crispy and juicy. Their noodles were a bit overcooked for my taste cause I usually like them al dente. Pork is on the dry side, and egg was slightly overcooked as well.

Not enough seats. A bit crowded. But delicious ramen. Plastic cup was not very clean. There was still oil greasy in the cup when I filled the water. The floor is greasy and slippery. Must be careful when you move around in the restaurant. Lack of service.

I like the yummy soup, porky and fresh. Not only light/heavy soup for choosing, but also different kinds of noodles. My favorite is the spicy one, great with meaty soup. And the deep fried chicken is highly recommended, very juicy. The best part is the crunchy green pea sprouts topped on ramen, full of texture and healthy.

If you are here for the perfect soup, this is the place. I love the soup base from this tiny local shop. We got sea salt and soy sauce base, pork is alright though. Price is just right. :) PS: remember to write your name on the waiting list if you arrive first.

Very authentic ramen, broth is thick and porky, milky white in colour from the bones and fat. A bit salty for me, but goes down well with ramen noodle. Owner is a friendly Japanese guy, very friendly and prepare every bowl in this shop. You can choose your soup base, then select 1 from 3 different kind of noodle, next you can adjust the amount of garlic, bean sprout and ramen sauce (where saltiness came from) to suit your liking. This shop allows you to refill our noodle once for free, 替え玉 (kaedama) Pleeeease!! Going to have ?? nightmare tonight ...

I ordered the shoyu tonkotsu (醬油豚骨) ramen and absolutely loved it! The addicting broth was hearty yet not overpowering or too fatty. The pork came in two different cuts & preparations, one close to standard chashu, and another crispy one that was toasted to perfection. When I was halfway through the bowl, either the former would come apart slightly or it was an extra effort on the chefs part, but tiny shreds of pork would permeate throughout the broth, creating a pretty unique mouthfeel and flavor. The price is also very attractive for a bowl of this caliber, and you can even request for free extra noodles. And on top of all that, their service was quick and pleasant, and I was able to receive my lunch in probably less than three minutes. 5/5 would definitely recommend over many of the big names in the city!

Came here after work on the week it opened with high expectations and was severely disappointed. We lined up for around 10 minutes and then was escorted in to use the order machine to order the ramen, sides and the type of noodles. The machine itself wasn't intuitive and we pressed around to get the hang of it. After ordering the dishes came fairly fast. Water and other condiments are self served at the side; the ramen came with a mountain of cooked bean sprouts and rough uneven thick cuts of pork. The pork's taste doesn't blend nor mix well with the soup nor the noodles and was very out of place, the eggs were really a shame as it was poorly cooked and looks mediocre. The soup was very greasy even in the light option which may be too much for some. Once you complete your initial bowl of noodles and can choose another noodle free of cost, however I found the best noodle is still option 1. You will be really stuffed after the meal however is it worth it? Maybe. Taste=1/5, portion=5/5, service=3/5. Would I revisit? Probably not.
