★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sadly this place didn't live up to the expectation based on the reviews here. Nothing was inherently bad, but none of the food stood out either. The chicken and biscuit tasted like Popeye's at most and the burger was pretty bland. The fries were cold and soggy. The salad was overly tart, but didn't really taste of anything else than the dressing. Finally the carrot cake was way too plain and quite stodgy with a way too greasy butter cream on top. Considering what they charge for the food, it's really not worth it, as there are other places that serve much better food. Drinks are also quite expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chicken was fried decent but the most memorable is actually the dipping sauces that go with it. Biscuits could have been more moist and buttery though but still overall decent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall quite disappointed. The menu looks very attractive but the actual food does not. we ordered the avocado salad, fried chicken, cheese burger with bacon jam, biscuit and carrot cake. Everything is lacking of flavour: Avo salad tastes only acidic and greasy. Fried chicken is bland and definitely need more seasoning. Carrot cake is greasy and made by someone who hasn't taste a proper carrot cake. Biscuit is probably made out of the ready mix as it has the same flavour. I can see why it's popular with the locals as it tastes nothing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the buttermilk fried chicken and carrot cake, the experience was super disappointing. The ads on Facebook have certainly created an attractive and one of a kind image for its fried chicken set however unfortunately for neither the chicken or the carrot cake ordered today has not fulfilled any expectations.
The fried chicken was dry and with no flavor, just plain fried chicken ( used the chicken chest). ( don’t even think about the cost over value ratio, it is just way too expensive)
The carrot cake on the other hand has left nth either, the texture is not in classic or traditional way but just very loose and not moisture at all.
Simply a disappointing dining experience.
Not recommended.

This is my second time eating here, but the first eating inside. (The first time was takeaway during the pandemic.) I did have to make a reservation, even though nobody was in the restaurant. ? The reservation was made for 25 minutes later, so it was ok. ☺️?
I ordered the chicken sandwich. It was very big! The sandwich had a nicely toasted bun, with lettuce, tomato, chicken, grilled pineapple, and a fried egg! The french fries had a little spicy powder on them, which was also delicious. 2 sauces came with the sandwich: cheese and bbq.
I ordered a beer, but there is no beer at this time. ? Instead, I ordered a passion fruit lemonade (it was very tasty!).
I also ordered a side of the biscuits (but don't do this for 1 person--it's too much food!!! ?).
Everything was very good! I'll come back again and try something new!

Great Chicken. Great Bread and salad. Pork chop seems to be a little bit greasy.
Four star rated because of the pork chop sauce and relatively small serve of fried chicken.

The signature fried chicken was disappointed and the crab cakes were delicious.
Finally, I found handmade biscuits in Taipei, and since KFC pulled out of the Taiwan market, I thought I would never eat it again. Of course, the biscuits at NY Bagel at Q square are also very good! I love the texture of the crust, and the butter and strawberry jam in it is really mouthwatering. So, I'm very grateful that Buttermilk offers biscuits, fried chicken, burgers, and the other things. Besides, I heard that the pork ribs are famous here and come with watermelon. I hope I can remember to come here again this summer to enjoy it.
