Caesar Park Kenting - Hengchun Township

1. Disgusting room. The floor, the carpet, the wall paper, the wardrobe are all rotten. Even the sink is cracked and the mirror is discolored. The hotel apparently needs renovation. 2. The carpet in the room is very dirty and dusty. Despite they put the dehumidifier in the room, the room is still musty all the time. My nose was terribly allergic during my stay. 3. The curtain can not fully cover the glass door right behind the bed. So the sun will shine to the bed in the morning. I did complain about this, and they said the curtain works normal. Probably they mean to wake people up in the early morning. 4. The air con is not ignorable, especially in the night. It’s very loud. Seems the hotel can advertised for the air con as no customer would possibly miss that. To be fair, the hotel owns the best location on that street. They have a small beautiful beach in front of the hotel. The pool, the garden are nice. The breakfast is great. Overall, it’s not a good choice considering the poor quality of the room.

We stayed in the villa and it was a very pleasant stay. The breakfast was wonderful, their staff were polite and very helpful. The room was well designed and well equipped. We enjoyed the spa on our room and relaxing walk in the private beach. Will go there again.

One word: outdated. The landscaping of the hotel is great, with tropical/ Bali like feel to it’s surroundings and the private walk away to the beach is awesome. Staffs are friendly and only few minutes of walk from Kending night market but these pros wouldn’t make up for things that I consider important for a 5 star hotel- cleanliness & outdated room. The bathroom is somewhat dark, with moldy seals here and there. Carpet in the room is obviously old and lost its original color/vibe. Extra outlets would be great and a toilet with its flush handle not so low and hidden would be ideal. Overall a great hotel but I wouldn’t stay here again unless it’s renovated.

We've tried all the 5-star hotels in Kenting and we think this is the best and the most family-friendly. The staff was great, the service was good, the buffet restaurant was organized and the food were refilled pretty quickly. The environment is nice. I also like the fact that the entertainment/play area is organized and put together on the same floor so the whole family (even you're doing/playing different games) are still together in one floor (arcade, table games, sports, children's library, kiddie play area). In another 5-star hotel they're all separated (in separated buildings and different floors). The entertainment area (including the very spacious kiddie area) are all FREE of charge (I'm saying this because in another 5-star hotel we've been to in Kenting they charge you for using the kiddie play area and the opening time is short.) Some people who gave a review here had bad experience with their rooms but we didn't have any of those. I'm giving 4 stars because there are still some things that could be improved. (1) I wasn't able to take a photo of it but the bed rails (for baby/children) that was given to us was really old and had some mold stains. (2) The pathway to the beach was closed so you have to cross the busy road to go to the beach. (3) Like what others say, for a 5-star hotel it's a bit outdated so a few changes would help. Overall, the experience was good and we will still go back.

I very loved this hotel next time bring more friends together.Lot of options of breakfast and the pool is so fresh and comfortable around the rest area so chilling place thank you.

It's a very nice place to stay in Kenting, friendly staff, clean room, and easy access to the beach. They offer breakfast buffet free. Food is delicious and plenty. We'll go back.

Rooms were nice. Pool and beach access are great. Food within hotel leaves much to be desired and the fitness room is far below expectation for such a hotel.

The only reason to stay in this hotel is to go to the beach across the street. And that is not a good enough reason to do so. This is a tired wheezing old hulk of a formerly nice hotel that is now a bus stop for tour groups. Yes they tried to "renovate" the rooms that were made sometime in the '80's but you can't make them any bigger or any less noisy. The showers are tiny and the water pressure is very low. The floors are stained by water and sink area is very small. NEVER pay over 4,000 for a room here. I guarantee you the people in the tour groups pay less. This place becomes a madhouse when the bus pulls up and the beach turns into a gigantic nursery by 11am and they don't leave until 5 pm. So if you want peace and quiet this is not the place for you. However if you are a family on a budget then this might be a perfect place for you to chill out with the kids, just don't overpay. Buffet breakfast not horrible but only if you pay the right price otherwise you will be very disappointed. Its not the Grand Hyatt buffet at all....overall we will never come back until they completely demolish this ancient pile and build a brand new W hotel.
