The cleanliness of the station is maintained fairly well. There are 3 exits. The toilet is located near the exit gate 3. Passengers with reduced mobility or pushing luggage are advised to enter and exit from exit 2. There are elevators and two-way escalators. UBike is just outside Exit 3.

The station is close to Sanchongjin City, with perfect life functions. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as many markets and schools. It is a popular station on the Zhonghe and Xinzhuang lines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 這裡有三個出口，比較多人走的是出口三，因為可以到新北市立聯合醫院，這附近蠻多辦公的地方，但捷運站出來除了旁邊的中山藝術公園沒什麼好逛的。
菜寮生活圈以重新路沿線、新北大道一段、中正南北路為主幹道。菜寮早期為果菜批發集散地，因此命名為菜寮，發展起源早、行政中心匯聚，有三重區公所、衛生所、戶政事務所，並有三重綜合體育館、中山藝術公園以及露天運動場，重新路沿線商家多元，大同南路有傳統市場，光明路也有全聯，大眾運輸有捷運菜寮站，2站就到台北市區，公車路線也相當密集，生活機能可說是相當便利。
There are three exits here. Most people take exit three because they can go to the New Taipei City United Hospital. There are quite a lot of office places nearby, but the MRT station has nothing to go shopping except for the Zhongshan Art Park next to it.
The Cailiao living circle is the main road along Xinbei Road, the section of Xinbei Avenue, and Zhongzheng South North Road. In the early days, Cailiao was a wholesale distribution center for fruits and vegetables, so it was named Cailiao. The development originated early and the administrative center was gathered. There were Sanchong District Office, Health Office, Household Administration Office, and Sanchong Gymnasium, Zhongshan Art Park and outdoor sports field. There are diversified businesses along the route. There are traditional markets on Datong South Road, Quanlian Road on Guangming Road, and the MRT Cailiao Station for public transportation. The bus routes are also quite dense, and the living functions are quite convenient.
