★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 草屯以前最熱鬧的地方，目前還殘存許多街屋，不過都被猙獰的招牌蓋過，而和平街往西走到底的空地是以前的草屯火車站遺址，可惜沒保留住

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 仍具古味的老房子不多了。路幅較窄，路邊停車紛亂。道路盡頭原有一小廣場，據上一輩人說是原古早五分車(小火車)車站，但現在也變成攤販區。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 才短短的30m，才幾棟的老房子，旁邊及對面彰銀都翻新為水泥，不值得來看，況且是在草屯的菜市場內，根本無法停車，大大的不推薦
