★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Carrefour provides a great shopping experience, especially for foreigners because you are bound to find products and foods you are familar with.
However I wouldn't buy recommend the rotisserie chicken at Carrefour I would suggest the rotisserie chicken from Costco.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bigger than average for Tainan. The usual Carrefour levels of user experience. Quality of fruit and veg is seriously lacking. Cockroaches not a good look for a supermarket.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hard to flag down taxis on the main street. One of the bigger Carrefours in the area. Main complex includes other restaurants, barber, clothes vendors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good, but not great. It good or even excellent because this Carrefour is a onestop shop for anything. We stockpiled our appliances here and household items. The prices are competitive, but I expected them to be cheaper than local Taiwan stores dedicated to selling a specific genre of items. Because of that, I would rather just shop locally instead of driving all the way here. But if you're tight on time and need one location for everything, come here. We were able to check out quickly and load our rented vehicle with just about everything we needed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my best Carrefour in Tainan. But it’s still a bit out of the way. Before RT Mart, I would always travel here. It used to be a Tesco over 10 years ago, and the difference is huge.
Compared to RT Mart, Carrefour doesn’t really offer buy 1 get 1 free deals. The promotions are never special. They even use a big sign in the ice cream section to show a discount of 1NT (press LIKE if you know how irritating that is).
But it’s still big and has a lot of things.
Anyway, enjoy it!
