Carrefour Zhonghua Store

One of the two divisions of the French wholesaler in Yongkang District. This one is in the basement and there is no food area around. The shopping area is big and numerous items are displayed. One can come here to buy things in large quantity for family. However, the price is comparatively high. For some tools or food, there surely are cheaper suppliers around. Count well before buying a lot!

This is my favorite Carrefour in Tainan City.

Big selection of foreign products. Very nice for Tainan. Took away one star because of staff being unhelpful...

one of the best wholesale market. especially for French's product, you can get arguably better price than any other places. And they open until 23.00!!

I love Carrefour stores and have mentioned this many times. This time I went to the Zhonghua store because it is closer to my new home. I have been there a few times before, and think that their selection is very lacking, compared to the An Ping location. This time wasn't much different, except I had tried to pull off a fingernail shard before leaving the house. It was fine, but peeled off way up into my finger and really hurt. About the time I reached the checkout, it started bleeding a lot. An attendant from an adjacent checkout lane saw that and approached me with a paper towel and bottle of alcohol spray. She offered to get me a "Band Aid", which I refused. I was given a discount ticket that I would need to go to the customer service desk to get, so I did. The employee there saw that I was bleeding and brought out a big basket of items: a first aid kit with no lid. I was fine but totally appreciate that TWO employees saw my situation and offered to help. Carrefour really is the best supermarket ever! (But the An Ping location has better stuff.)

Carrefour is good fun to look around and buy some food and items. My images should really help you to see what they sell.

Relatively smaller in size but you would get all items for daily use. This is located in the basement of this building and parking is just across the street. At first glance, it looks very old style carrefour, but as you entered the carrefour; you can find all things. Not much crowded as other stores because it’s not on the Main Street.
