★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A big store for English and other language teaching books and resources. There's a wide selection and they have many books in stock. The service also was pleasant. You can sign up for a membership to get discounts, I guess. However, I was reluctant to give them my ID number. That's not really necessary, is it?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place for English books. Not cheap and not the best service. The girls there seem unhappy and overworked. I've been mislead about the online listening for books twice. They didn't offer the CD to me either. If you live in Taiwan sign up for the 10% discount with your ID.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For English textbooks, reviewers, and storybook needs, then this is bookstore for you. They also carry paperbacks for kids and adults.
The clerks are friendly and are able to speak English as well. I used to live in Tienmu, but i still go to this branch whenever i need English Textbooks. (Better layout=easier book browsing)
But make sure you check the time since they close much earlier than most bookstores.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Caves location is near the Yuanshan MRT station and is quite large. I was surprised at the number of English books they have in stock. I got several English language workbooks for Math and English and a couple classics from their extensive stock of books like Sherlock Holmes, etc. If you're looking for books in English for your child (of all ages) this is a more reliable bet than Eslite.
