Changhua Koxinga Temple

Historic Buildings The Chang Cheng Temple of Changhua was founded in the 3rd year of the Showa era (1928), also known as the "Taiwanese surnamed Da Zong". It is a very important one in the temple of Zheng Chenggong, the Taiwanese sovereign. After the establishment of Zheng Chenggong Temple, the main 祀 Zheng Chengguo’s surname is attached to the ancestor Gan Hui, General Wan Li and the Zheng’s ancestors’ longevity and public morality. In the year of the Republic of China, the management organization of Changhuan Zhengcheng Temple was established. The temple was completed in the 75th, 86th and 97th years of the Republic of China.

However, whether it is a local craftsman or a craftsman from China, it is not all concentrated in the origin of Guanyin stone, because the stone carving master can not only engrave the dragon column, and other stone carving accessories must also be supervised or personally operated, so it must be in the temple. The use of Guanyin stone to carve dragon pillars is a common phenomenon during the Japanese occupation period, and because the Guanyin stone is suitable for multi-level high hollowing techniques, the dragon pillars of the Japanese occupation period have different styles and construction methods from the Qing Dynasty. Only the advantages of Guanyin Stone can easily turn into shortcomings, that is, they are severely damaged by external forces, and are more susceptible to weathering, especially the dragon columns placed in front of the eaves of Sanchuan Temple.
