★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some pretty good views. The trail was closed on the Changchun side and it wasn't posted on the website. It's a short steep hike if you do it from the road, but you can drive up to the temple and start there to halve the elevation gain. The swinging bridge and the eternal springs Bell tower were the highlights.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a bit out of the way from the tourist bus track in the park but absolutely worth it! If you go you have to make the climb up to the bell tower. It’s hard but not that long and the views are amazing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A short but steep walk up the mountain steps to get to the shrine. The view is worth it. Don't forget to ring the bell at the top to comfort the spirits of those who died making the road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a beautiful temple. Note the climb up to the bell tower takes roughly 20-30mins. It’s very steep and lots of stairs climbing. The bridge is roughly 7 story high up and can only accommodate 10 people at a time. You will see many people queuing and only allowing less than 10. As it’s a wooden bridge. Quite shaky and scary.
There’s a myth that you hit the bell 3 times and make a wish. But my guide told me to hit 6 times as he is a native Hualien person. So I hit 6 times! Hope my wish comes true. This place is nice and the temple nun have a tea place for you to make your own tea. Bring ur own tea leaves!
