Looks like things won't be completed until late spring/early summer at the earliest.
As such almost no park to explore and not a wood sight in sight, let alone a forest!
Extremely disappointed! Daan park in Taipei is much better (albeit also sans a forest).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice park.... some small streams with fish. A few squirrels running about and in Sundays young children usually practice soccer or some kind of sport... a few homeless people live in the park but they dont bother anyone. This park is quiet and never too busy... Nice to sit under the trees and enjoy the surroundings.
