The Kenting Street Che Yellow line from this bus stop brings you to the Checheng hot spring area. However, the bus schedule is not so reliable, and the time interval between buses is too long. Locals typically wait around for locals operating "pirate taxis" - private-owned cars - who only drive between the bus stop and the hotspring area. A tell-tale sign is when they slow down and wind down their windows, making eye contact. I shared a car with a friendly elderly Taiwanese. While the driver wanted to charge me (a tourist) USD 3.50 for the 10-min ride, the local managed to negotiate it till USD 2. Normal taxis are rare to come by (only saw less than 3 in an hour, often on the opposite lane). However, you take the pirate taxi at your own risk! There is also a difficulty to return from the Checheng area without pre-arranged transport (you could also get the telephone number of the pirate taxi, and ask if you could call him when you are done with your soak in Checheng).
