S	Sin Hsin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Variety of food here! 30 mins walk from the city centre but if you have time, it's worth to visit. Many interesting stuffs such as game, food, shops....! Another choice of night market in Chia-Yi if you are bored of the Wen Hua road night market :p
C	Christopher on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Night market right next to Carrefour. Has a ton of food and games with lots of stuff you won't be able to find in a Taipei night market. The night market itself is two big alleys and opens up into a large open area where all the games and sitting areas are. It's a pretty unique night market since it's more of the style of an older traditional night market. You'll find older style games like mahjong and ring toss but they also have tons of your average night market games too. They also have small carnival rides and a full arcade ? Overall, it's a fun night market especially for teens and kids. Has enough food and drinks to keep adults entertained too. And since it's next to Carrefour, it's a good way to spend an evening after eating in one of the Carrefour restaurants!

Just keep walk straight from left side until the end will have many food stall selling foods, we choose this stone bowl steamboat as dinner at only NTD $150, we add on clams and fish too for additional NTD $90

Not as popular as the Wen Hua Night Market in Chiayi but the food stalls sells rather different type of food as compared to Wen Hua Night Market, hence you wouldn't feel as though it's a replica of another night market. Near the amusement park (carousel) there are a few stalls that sells hot pots (something like mookata where you can choose both grilled and steamboat style of food. There are two stalls that sells "Manchurian" food which is similar to teppanyaki food. Just pay TWD$180 (min for 2) you can choose as much vegetables as you like (as long as it does not fill out of the bowl they provide) and choose the type of meat you prefer and they will whip up a dish for you. It reminds me of Mala food but more worth the money as they will not weigh how much you have selected!
Y	Ying Xian CHUA on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s one of the bigger night markets in Chiayi, but if you are after interesting and good food, there is a better and bigger one over at Wen Hua night market, which is even busier than here. You will find more families here, with more hot pots, stone-cooked food, and teppanyaki style food. An average place for food, but there are a lot of stores which sells clothes, small items, and have traditional games.

The night market has so many various kinds of foods, drinks, playgrounds, and the space for people to walk is bigger than usual night market. There are also many clothes shops here, with cheaper price. If you like crispy stinky toufu, I recommend to try the stinky toufu here. It was not inside the night market, but near the U-bike station and Carrefour. There are also batting center, go-car ride, archery, etc. I heard that there is also a famous beancurd (tou hua) near the batting center. This night market is pretty near from the train and bus station, so we dont need to worry much about the time to go back from the night market.
