★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiayi Botanic Garden [CBG] or Botanic Garden, Chiayi, is next to Chiayi Forest Park, and it is often mixed up or considered Chiayi Botanic Garden to be part of Chiayi Forest Park, although two parks belong to different government agencies.
In general, Chiayi Botanic Garden has more varieties of trees and flowers and is managed from the perspectives of conservation ecology and conservation forestry studies. The trees in the CBG are generally taller, older, and well preserved for their original natures.
The CBG is free for access, and there are free street parking spaces along Minhchuang East Road, though spaces are limited. CBG has free bathroom.
