★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 臺灣年代最早的溫陵媽廟，是泉州晉江縣（又名溫陵）移民，自泉州天后宮供奉天上聖母神像渡海來台，選擇嘉義建廟至今已有345年。廟中主祀媽祖、玉皇上帝、觀世音菩薩...等，過年回嘉義的遊子會到此，祈求新的一年，平安健康，萬事如意，香火鼎盛也有安太歲，點文昌燈、光明燈保佑。
 The earliest Wenling Ma Temple in Taiwan was an immigrant from Jinjiang County (also known as Wenling) in Quanzhou. It has been 345 years since Quanzhou Tianhou Temple enshrined the statue of the Virgin of Heaven and crossed the sea to Taiwan. The temple worships Mazu, Jade Emperor God, Guanshiyin Bodhisattva...etc. The wanderers who return to Chiayi during the Chinese New Year will come here to pray for the new year, peace and health, all the best, the prosperity of the incense and the peaceful Tai Sui, light Wenchang lanterns, bright lights bless.
