★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms have AC, and the food's okay. I'm living here with 5 other guys but everything's still reasonably clean. Each room has two toilets, two showers, and two sinks. The outlets have three holes, and there are a good number of them underneath the table. Space could be better though, but that's to be expected when living with this many people.
The subway station is within walking distance, as is Shilin night market, where you can go to buy hella chicken steaks and other food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you stay here, despite it being a non-smoking room, they will do nothing about other guests smoking in the room and do nothing apart from saying that they'll "try to figure something out". I complained about the smoke coming into my room for 6 consecutive days and they have done absolutely nothing to rectify the situation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very busy. Seems to be hosting several simultaneous groups at any one time. This time of the year is youth camp hosting global campers. I stayed here nearly thirty years ago and thought it was a blast. Seems well maintained but age is showing. Though facilities are important, it's the people that make the experience and I give that five stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good location, 5-10 minutes walk from the train station. Situated opposite a hiking trail for those who are adventurous, I went up twice for wonderful views. Rooms are comfortable with basic toilet amenities provided (toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, soap, shampoo). Hot water showers and drinking water coolers are also available. Breakfast is a wide spread.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in a campus like setting room, have different size of room, the one that I have is two bed room, a bit small but clean and tidy. The view is great, facing the river and can see sunset. I am lucky to able to watch fire works during one night. The meal is not bad, menu changes every day. It is healthy meal, low is oil, sugar and salt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In general, this is a nice place to stay. Staffs here are nice and helpful. But, free wifi is very weak next to zero.

i brought my own internet.
no pest.
they are accomodating.
i ordered a lot from food panda and uber for my snacks.
great view.
definitely will come back for more.
