Worst airline company ever! Total bureaucracy and clueless newbie customer service rep mostly just reading off scripts without providing any assistance. (customer service group used to be knowledgeable and caring but no more) Wasted so much time and phone bills with frustration dealing with them and still no resolution! I would avoid this company at all costs!

1. I’m happy that soon I will fly back with China airlines. It was great! They served ice cream, wine, shrimps, fruits... you can watch movies and listen to music. Amazing. 2. Recently my flight was automatically changed and my travel agency refused to help me, I felt so helpless about it. But I called China airlines and it changed the dates for me. It saved my life. Even if I had to hang on phone for 1,5 hours, I’m happy about the result. This company does great. I can only strongly recommend it

I was not initially going to fly China Airlines until a disruption to my original airline, Cathay Pacific, prompted me to fly China Airlines so I could be at my destination on time for a meeting. I was genuinely pleased and surprised by the level of service and quality of product on the A350 from Taipei to YVR. The service was impeccable as my flight attendant, Doong, was very attentive and provided 5* service. We had plenty of great conversations during the flight including how much she loves her job at CI. In comparison to Cathay's J class, the A350 CI does not have an infotainment which you can swivel or toggle. To get closer to the TV, you'll have to adjust your seat. All the rest are pretty much the same. I do reckon that CI offers a bit bigger portion in terms of food but the quality is a wash.

Super friendly and attentive crew, kids and baby friendly airline. We flew 3 legs for 18hrs changed of 3 teams and all of them are personal and caring for young children. A350 flying from and to Australasia, 180 degree flat bed with newly refitted interior in business class, very spacious and comfy. High quality pillow and blankets. They use strata for lounge is the only down side for our experience. Nothing bad just not the same standard as they are otherwise.

it is OK if you talk about value for money. but they just do not offer superior service & food. Everything just try to cut cost down. especially when fly to Australia & NZ. Always use second class of fleet such as A333 or even 744. What ever you paid for this route. traveler from Australia & NZ do not experience their new 777-300ER or A350. Even business class traveler in that route. only receive very average quality food or service. (sometimes even under average food) my posted photos are the true evidence to show public.

This was my first experience flying China Airlines Business Class product from Sydney to Vancouver via Taipei. I had heard good things about this airline based out of Taiwan and they didn’t disappoint. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was top rate and delicious. The seat was super comfortable and when in bed mode provided me with a solid 6 hrs of sleep on each of the legs of my flight. The cabin was clean and especially so the toilets which were cleaned by a member of the cabin crew as frequently as after one of two passengers which was amazing! The only let down is the lay over time in Taipei. For me this was 19hrs and I know that many other routes stopping here have a similar connection delay. This may be a way of encouraging passengers to go into Taipei and spend some tourist dollars and I would totally encourage you to explore the very friendly and interesting city centre but options for shorter lay overs would be appreciated. Many thanks to the amazing crew on my flight and I hope to fly with you again in the very near future.

I haven’t flown in China Airlines for many years due to being high status with both Cathay and Eva, however post covid it was time for a business trip and the only flight available for my timing was China Airlines. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. Staff on the plane were awesome and in this post covid world (if I can say that) they worked much harder. To avoid people moving around the plan and avoiding people grabbing snacks the staff were active throughout bringing drinks and snacks and checking on passengers even we weren’t that many on the flight from Taiwan to Los Angeles. Very impressed. Kudos to the team and to management for keeping staff in good shape and happy through this difficult time.

I came here to inquire about a possible flight to the Middle East. Almost half of the staff promptly came to help me out! Not only were they so professional, they were incredibly friendly too! I felt so welcomed and happy; despite being unable to get a flight via China Airlines to go back home
