Chinatrust Executive House

The accommodation is very normal, simple breakfast, front desk service is no good. But suitable for cost concern traveler.

Old hotel. Shower door fell off while I was showering! Still uses key locks. No switch to turn lights off, had to unscrew the light bulbs. Not ok for the price they charge.

Room smelled like mold and cigarettes. Windows had no screens. AC vents covered with thick black dust. Constant toilet leak, water all over floor. Towels were stiff and smelly, obviously dried in the sun. Bed and sheets were comfortable. Breakfast was just so-so (standard congee, misc hot foods). Would NOT stay here again.

The manager and receptionists gave the worst hotel experience to my life. The facilities are extremely aged. All of the staffs are bloody unprofessional. Breakfast is terrible. Even taxi driver cannot find the direction of the hotel since it’s hidden in numerous building. The price is quite expensive which isn’t corresponded with the service there. A worst hotel experience!

The room was dirty, grease / oil on the furniture and was smelly (it was a no smoker room).During the night you couln't open the window, because it was too loud, the whole night. No chance too have another room. WC did not flush starting from the first day, it was repaired later. Water had so much chlor in it that you could smell it in the bedroom. Reception: No service, I asked where to eat or where to visit something, but they had no interest. WLAN it did not worked at all, after 3 times I informed them I gave up. In the evening/night there was no manager responsible. They couln''t say Good morning or good evening. The breakfast was toast - do it yourself -, butter and marmelade for European otherwise nothing else except for Taipeh typical menu. 3 days long the hotel was disinfected against a very dangerous illness!!! When I paid the credit card device did not accept none of my 2credit cards till another employee came in and suddenly I cold pay. One week later I asked by e-mail/trough my company which booked the room to send me a copy of my invoice because I did not find it anymore... we sent 3 reminders = NO ANSWER , but they received the money according to my credit card company. Well I had to stay there a couple of weeks, but next time I will choose ANOTHER HOTEL. Btw they were not willing to call me a taxi, since I had to go to work every day. Furtunately the last day the company chaffeur drove me from Taipeh city to the airport.

Is okay, a decent hotel handy for X Indian district, but facilities are not what you might expect and its certainly not luxurious. Breakfast was fairly basic with limited choice, okay but not great, and it was actually next door because they just no restaurant in the hotel. Rooms had been kitted out reasonably well at some point but were more tired and in need of refit. WiFi worked well, which was a bonus.

The location is convenient for shopping and eating. And the rental price is pretty low, espically in Taipei district area. Public transit is next to the hotel.

The service is so bad. The room is dirty and leaking.
