★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautifully designed restaurant paired with beautifully plated dishes! The restaurant blends Chinese ingredients with French cooking techniques that is offered in a set course. It was filling yet light and refreshing at the same time. This place is newly opened - it would be a great place to check out for a quiet evening with friends!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really disappointed. The food was not tasty at all. For this price point I expected alot more. The dong po buns were plain, fish salted but with no flavour, mapo lasagne was filled with ground up hua jiao peppercorns that gave it a constant crunch that we also did not care for. Would not recommend.

The Umami Platter du jour is beautifully and thoughtfully executed. The Chengdu Tofu is chilly and moreish. The Smoked black bean fish with oyster is fresh and lively. The short rib is tender while enticing. The two desserts are two symbolic Taiwanese sweets in taste with enchanting modernised presentation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Chinois as my friends guest so I don't know how much it costs but...the food was excellent. I can't really handle spicy foods well since I have an allergy to spicy food so I kind of just tried all of the dishes (the ones that were spicy made me REALLY sweat) other than that, it was really good. I didn't take pictures of all the dishes (enjoyed the conversation too much and forgot :) but trust me, it was delicious.
