★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On paper, a trip to rice fields did not sound exciting but our friends highly recommended this place so we drove down from Hauelin to this small quaint town. Glad we did it as cycling through lush green rice fields turned out to be the highlight of the trip. For those who love nature and don't mind slow pace of life then this must be on a do to list in this region.

No lockers though so it can be troublesome for those who aren't staying in Chishang for the night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful, quaint station. Just right for a quiet town, the station's lovely architecture is largely inlaid with wood and curving arches as part of the superstructure. Artwork adorns the walls of the station and calligraphy art decorate the glass walls.
