★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So they claim they’re the original bubble tea founders... so I had to try it and surprisingly they’re pretty good! I ordered a tomato soup base noodle and it was heavenly. The flavours were unbelievable and I had to get a some mochi as dessert too. Such a wonderful meal! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For those that don't know, chun shui tang is a large taiwanese chain with a wide variety of teas and traditional taiwanese food. The price for each item is low, but thats because the portions are so small.
This specific location is the original store. Its a large restaurant with three stories and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is what makes this place unique. You dont find many outdoor eating areas to hangout in taiwan. Lots of smokers though in the outdoor area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The braised bean curd and pork belly were very good. We got a variety of dishes and nothing disappointed. The kungfu noodles are the most popular and for good reason. If you have trouble deciding, you can't go wrong with them. Service was quick and the place very clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Founding fathers of Taiwanese bubble tea place. Chinese tea house style deco, quite charming if you are a foreigner. Semi self-service where you have to fill out the order and go to cashier desk. Wide variety of sweet drinks and you may also try many classic local small dishes here. May get pretty noisy over the weekend. Good spot to try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chance finding of this Chun Shui Tang chain store on Google. Food and drinks are as good as the original shop. Expect small servings of food but good size drinks which they are famous for. This store also has an outdoor seating area which is very inviting and in a nice setting. Good restaurant to catch up with friends and family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fun place to visit and experience the original bubble tea. You can adjust the sweetness and ice here so 50% will make a refreshing cup of bubble tea. The boba are about half the size of most tea shops. The restaurant setting is quite beautiful and refined and the prices are fair. The menu had english subtitles so no problem if you don't speak chinese. Local style fare is also offered, and was quite delicious.
