Stately and beautiful church The Zhongming Church is the third community church in the Taichung urban area to be discussed with the trade union and the South American Chamber of Commerce. It was officially opened on March 17, 1973. Since 1990, in addition to the care of believers, the Zhongming Church has actively worked to develop new ministries, such as adult Sunday school and small groups. On February 7, 1993, the twentieth anniversary of the establishment of the Church of Thanksgiving was held. The rented house in the alleyway was used as a chapel to the chapel building, and God ’s grace was endless. Since the development of the entire Taichung urban area has shifted to the rezoning areas of Phases 5 and 7, and the direction of Xitun District, the Association in this remote suburb has become a downtown area, with immigrants from other counties and cities. The location is more important. At the same time, because of the rise of communityism, it has also affected the overall mission strategy and direction of the Taiwan church. In addition to continuing to expand the development of adult Sunday school courses, the Association also tried to launch community service work, such as Songnian Academy, Community Junior High School Ministries, co-organized community parent growth seminars with YMCA, and social youth growth seminars with YWCA Happy summer camp with children of single parent families and so on. I hope that through the contact of the community, the church and the people of the community will have contact with the mission and evangelism.
