★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite peaceful over looking the mountains, the monastery is not ancient its very new. You can see the monks and lots of different structures and figures of buddha and other tao dieties.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful Monastery set among the hills. Free entry, good parking, beautiful countrywide. Museums worth a visit, 200 NTD entrance free, over 60s free. Souvenir shop is very expensive, although it has a very large range of items on sale.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful monastery and biggest one I have visited so far in my travels. Beautifully crafted exterior as well as interior. We refrained from taking pictures inside the main temple which had some of the biggest statues I have seen to date. A must visit if you are in Taiwan.

Compassionate people were practicing here and many visitors came to be encouraged.
A beautiful location to visit .
The gardens,waterways and ponds are truly magnificent! The have a beautiful bridge that crosses over the pond and is a terrific photo memory opportunity .
You can take a tour from one of the monks or sisters who live and work here and is very informative.
It is very near the countryside township of Puli and a short ride to the world famous Sun Moon Lake National Park.
