★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid at all cost, just head to 三凤中街 for dry goods items with greater variety. I liken the experience here to the Matrix movie, where you see rows and rows of the same Agent Smith circling Neo. That's right, you see exactly the same items being sold at all stalls lining the 200m stretch (though it felt more 400m), ON BOTH SIDES. Go on Neo, go on. Don't say the Oracle didn't warn you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to get all your dried seafood. We stopped at a stall and the man was very nice and gave us a lot of samples and the lemon squid was the standout. He told us he was an artist and actually drew himself on the cover of his packaging! Super cute and really good addicting squid. He also had a fish bone chip kind of thing which was also really good.

long story short, i accidentally burnt my finger while eating the seafood on qijing street, so i was holding a ice bag while browsing in this market.
One stranger aunty saw me, and asked if i was hurt? I nodded, and she grabbed my hand and stormed to another vendor who sold chinese medicine and asked for this mint paste and applied to my finger.
It was definitely a touching and unforgettable memory <3 love taiwan!
