★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad service , showed up one day and they told me they will not be able to open an account because I needed an appointment , despite I'm Citibank client overseas , anyway I showed up next day and happened that they told me that nobody was there ( I was waiting for around 45 min to hear that ) then they said to me ,come next day , I asked to talk with the manager of the branch , eventually she showed up but... here comes the best thing , no English version of the contract so ... I didn't open the account and I will need to wait until they get one contract in English ( despite being in one of the areas with more expats in taiwan ?) ... to be continued... probably in other branch they say they could have one ... BUT... I need to have an appointment first ....

Here is my conversation with them:
I'd like to open an account please.
We don't accept walk-in's. The next appointment is next week.
How about your peer branches? Do they have walk in counter services?
I have no idea. You have to call them.
Can you check for me?
You can call them yourself.
I must insist you call them for me.
(The clerk reluctantly made a call).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very terrible service. I tried to open a bank account twice and they turned me away both times.
When I tried to ask them on which branch I may be able to open a bank account they simply said they don’t know and each branch has its own schedule.
In addition, they told me that they do not use phones so they cannot even help me ask about availabilities.
The customer service rep who served me is called Mona. AVOID citi as their service is none existent.
I ended up taking my business elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even with an ARC and being resident and with a decent salary, don't even try. Poor attitude and service and can feel LOT OF laziness. I finally got an appointment with their "manager" to open a bank account, by insisting the 4th time there. But when I was about to sign, decided to not open an account there. What if they do this with your money too? ?♂️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad service from start to finish. Not rude but simply a very unprofessional, amateurish service. I was trying to set up a cash account and credit card, and after three face to face meetings,phone calls, filling out endless forms, finally they said I can’t open an account as my ARC card doesn’t have an address on it. I have no idea why they couldn’t have checked this at the very beginning, I have wasted hours/weeks of my life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My very first time ever to write a bad review on anything, but the service at this branch was non-existent. All I got from the receptionist was that they would call me for an appointment and suggested I try another branch. She asked why I wanted to open account there and not at other banks? So Citibank doesn’t need any more clients? I had banked with Citibank in the States, with great service. It’s hard to believe they allow this kind of service to exist here.
