★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cheap local icecream, easily to veganize if you ask for the snow rather than the casual icecream. You take your bowl, you can add the almond tofu, peanuts, sweet yam...and the price is based on weight. You can expect to pay around 40NTS , very affordable for the hot days!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best shaved ice in town but be prepared to wait in line after 7:00pm. Daytime before 5 has no line, but this is the best snack place after dinner, so there is a bit of wait time during the dinner time. You can pick and choose your own ingredients and sweet level for the shaved ice. It has also menu items hot and cold. This is a very different type of shaved ice from the western world such as Hawaii. Hawaiian shaved ice is Japanese style with coloring syrups, but Taiwanese shaved ice uses only brown sugar syrup, a bit healthier. You've got to give it a try when you visit this town!!
