坤元宮, Kuen-Yuan-Gong Temple, a registered Taoist Temple, probably built in 1818, worships Earth God or Land God as its main deity, and it also worships other Buddhist and Taoist deities, including 觀世音菩薩, Bodhisattva. The Temple is the religious worship center for local residents, especially Taiwanese farmers, in Nangang area, in early years when the Temple was located inside the rice fields. Nowadays, farm land and rice field disappear and people who work in nearby business and finance centers also worship at the Temple. The Temple is NOT large in size, and seems to locate in public land or land which is designated by the Taipei government as public park.
