Sisters, this is really a very special temple. All of them are made of coral and shells. Be very careful when walking, so as not to be cut by coral. There is a basement with many beautiful works of art. There is also a big pond to feed the fish, especially I saw that the crocodile is very fat. If you fry three cups, it should be good. There is also a very big catfish. When I heard a very strange scream, it was really scary, but I loved it so much, am I being cheap, I am really a woman

It's a pity that it's quaint next to the cemetery, which makes people feel gloomy. The equipment inside is full of dust, which adds to the old and terrifying atmosphere. The shell sales area at the back is like a pole factory, but there are many shell crafts and sparsely populated.

Changhua_Sanqing Sanyuan Palace
Only a 10-minute drive from Lugang Old Street
But this "Gong Temple" is really special
Whether it's the dragon and phoenix on the wall or mural
All set with shells and coral reefs
With endless repetition of Taoist music and the chaos of the graveyard next door ㄉ
But inferred from the site specifications
Those who sleep here are big families
There are not only gods who can worship
Going underground, there is an underground passage where you can buy shells in the store
And crocodile(???) watching tortoises and birds
It feels complicated, it’s a temple built for blessings
But it also constrains a large number of creatures here
I really don't understand
I don’t want to go to the zoo anymore
There is another use (meaning)
I just waited for the people who came to see it. It's cool!
transportation
google shell temple can be found directly
But the road to turn in is too small
If you are driving, the oncoming car will get stuck
You can park directly next to the grave
Think about going home at night
Although the gods of Taoism are worshipped here
But who would put a bunch of topless men in the temple?

Super special! Many shell sculptures are artistic and ingenious, and the whole space is lovely and not gloomy ? (see some comments mentioned). I think that in terms of temples, it is indeed not the kind of temple with flourishing incense, bright lights, and grandeur, but it is a historical building with artistic and local characteristics. Many small temples of this kind in Taiwan are now in ruins... From the perspective of cultural relic preservation, it is really a pity.
The shells, crystals, and corals at the back are all very cheap~! I bought a jade butterfly ring for only 50 ?

20211219 I personally currently know that there is a shell temple in each of the north, middle and south of Taiwan. Last time I went to the shell temple in Tianliao, Kaohsiung.
The temple is located in farmland and tombs, and the surrounding roads are narrow. I personally suggest that if you see the instructions about the shell temple while driving, you should follow the instructions. If you insist on following the navigation, you can also reach it, but it is likely to take you there. It's just a narrow, sinister road where you can't get cars.
There is a large open space in front of the temple where you can park. Today, we have only two groups of tourists and five people. The temple is decorated with shells on top and bottom. The temple is mainly dedicated to Taishang Laojun. The interior is a bit dark, and there is a line on the left. The passage, the real interesting thing is the space downstairs. There is a sales area for ornamental fish, wooden furniture and shell jewelry. There are also many carps in the outdoor pool for tourists to feed the fish. What’s interesting is that besides carp, there are several strange big fish in the pool, like big catfish and special large fish that look like gar. There are a bunch of turtles and three crocodiles in other waterless pools. The crocodile also moves. Not moving looks like a specimen, so there is a warning next to it, hoping that visitors will not throw foreign objects at the crocodile in order to make the crocodile move.
Personally think that the shell jewelry store is quite worth visiting. The things are not expensive and very special. There are not many tourists, so there are more quiet and leisurely. In addition, there is a small aquarium and zoo, which is also a free and high CP value for the whole family. Attractions.

Because in front of the door is the villa of the ancestors, it is strongly recommended that children do not come. The Shell Temple was built by amateur artist Huang Qichun for 30 years. The style is very different from that of other temples, so I mix and match styles and have a unique style, but I will not bring friends here.
There are also turtle and carp breeding areas in the tree hole next to it. Walking further to the side, I found that there were also three crocodiles.
Generally speaking, I will not visit twice, and I would not recommend coming if you are not brave.

Lukang-Sanqing Sanyuan Palace/Shell Temple
Located in Lukang Old Street about ten minutes by car, there is a shell temple similar to Bali. The gods worshiped are different. The person who built this temple is a local Mr. Huang. Mr. Huang spent more than 20 years. The shells and corals have been collected continuously, and then pasted on the cement wall, and slowly a shell temple has been formed.
Among them, the dragon and phoenix paintings in the basement are even more surprising. They are all created in the color of shells. They are very powerful. After walking out of the basement, there will be a section of handicrafts. In the fish pond, children can experience the fish feeding show. Mr. Huang felt that he was afraid of being caught by stealing fish. He issued a lot of warnings, and everyone must not steal. There is also a tombstone commemorating his wife. Mr. Huang must be very fond of him. His wife is so heartwarming ❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ {彰化鎮-福興鄉-寺廟}
{Changhua Town - Fuxing Township - Temple}
Parking is convenient, you can park if there is an empty space next to it, but pay attention to the graves next to you and the driving route. Tickets are free here, and there is a powder room. It is mentioned in the introduction on the Internet: Shell Temple is built with shells and coral reefs. The temple is dedicated to the main god Sanqing Daozhu, Yuanshi Tianzun, Sanguan the Great, and the Jade Emperor. This shell temple was built slowly by a Mr. Huang who spent nearly 30 years. The founder of the temple, Mr. Huang, spent two years sticking together shells to make a dragon, about two meters long, which was placed in the Shell Temple for the public to visit. The whole temple is made of small shells and reefs. *You can stay here for about 60 minutes, strolling around and enjoying this special building, full of shells is really special. Looking up at the ceiling again, there are beautiful shell decorations on the ceiling, which is really special.
