★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb food and as authentic as you can get for a Taiwanese breakfast.. Love it! Downside is that they don't know how to speak in English. Better to know how to count in mandarin for easier conversations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A perennial favorite with locals and adventurous tourists who likes restaurants off the beaten path. I was told to try the 燒餅 and 豆漿 and they didn't disappoint. Only thing is, place is small and crowds can snake out to the street.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classic Taiwanese restaurant for breakfast! The price is so cheap and I feel so contented! I ordered a “xiao bin” (flat bread) with egg and “Yao tiao” (fried bread sticks) （燒餅加蛋加油條）.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you love traditional breakfast you should definitely give it a try. I've noticed the staffs are friendly and know a bit of Japanese also have Japanese menu so don't worry about how to order. For my opinion, they have really good quality of Taiwanese omelette, deep fried dough, soy milk and Chinese style pastry especially peanut flavor. You can order for here or take away but different waiting line.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its all about the Soybean Milk & the Youtiao (Chinese crullers) here.
The Soybean has sweet and salty variety with option of adding egg. I choose the salty one and it taste great and it already have some Youtiao dipped in it.
The Yuotiao can be order as it is or better, order it wrapped (either with egg roll or Shaobing). It is crunchy and taste good, love the smell of nicely fried Youtiao in the morning.
The Xiao Long Bao is good, i had taste better but this is good too.
Overall taste great and its cheap too. I'm there around 10am on a weekday, it has some crowd but no long queue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ what a good find!!! ? although we had to walk 10 mins in the hot sun from CKS MRT Station, it is worth it for the food and price ☺️ the dou jiang is one of the smoothest i’ve ever drank, and the youtiao is crispy and warm - eaten together is perfect! but the jian dan ping and the shao bing dan is a bit plain

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited this place without first knowing it was a tourist attraction full of Korean and Japanese tourists. Seemed that we all made a good choice. The egg pancake was wonderful. Soya milk was so thick and good. Not so good when it came to steamed dumplings. They got too light a taste that I did not really like.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The peanut pastry (花生酥餅) was weirdly my favourite. It is quite fragrant, so I would imagine their pastry (燒餅) would be good. I have a picture attached, though I didn’t try it. I had the egg roll (蛋餅) but the dough was a tat too much for me, it doesn’t combine well with the egg. The rice milk (米漿) was disappointing. I believe the soy milk might be better. Overall, it is still a great breakfast place, better than average.
