Colormix Hotel & Hostel

Affordable and comfortable but be careful when choosing room, the one with bed on upper area is absolutely not for anyone who is weak, disabled or just plain afraid of heights. Even a reasonably fit person as myself ended up having to perform some acrobatics and gained some arm and chest muscle while at it.

Location good, but room was super bad. If you can tolerate the moldy smell infesting your whole room and the sewerage smell coming out of the drainage hole, here's the place for you. You're welcome.

Recommended Hotel in Teipei ! Good service from reception team since the beginning until checkout. They suppprt and quick answer for my inquiries for the room , transportatiin Hotel location is close to Xiemen Station (from exit 1 You can walk to hotel only 5 minutes. 7-11 infront of the street (walk from hotel only 30 seconds!! :) Room is great compared with the budget. I book Double Room. The room located 6th floor of another building (easy to access only 5 seconds by walk) this building has lift for you:) and secure by keycard access. Big bed, lovely room with private bathroom. easy to connect free & fast WIFI. Cleanliness of the room is superb by a houseman (Please compliment to him .. sorry I met him on the checkout and I don't know his name. Mini Bar including 2 bottles of water per day, Instant coffee with a pot Shampoo& Bath Gel, Towel set. TV in the room but I watch via my mobile. From airport, hotel staff help me to call taxi pickup to hotel only 1200 TWD - night time because my flight landed after midnight ( the care is a big van, if you come with your family or 3-4 person. I suggest to arrange airport pickup. For departure staff help.ke to arrange taxi to the airport it is only TWD 1,000. The Hotel location ... easy access to Xiementing Shopping area ( 5 mins by walk) The Red House ( 4 mins by walk) MRT Xiemen ( 5 mins by walk) I recommended this hotel and I can't wait to stay in ColorMox Hotel for my next visit to Taipei.

I have been visited Colormix hotel on new year's day. The price was highly increased at the gold time but be acceptable. The staff were very nice and polite. They gave me the famous pineapple pie in Taiwan (red sakura) and write a card as a new year gift for visitors. That was impressed me a lot and I do love your gift :D All facilities were provided. Great location, near Ximen mrt station, the mart, the famous restaurant, and shopping store. But the room has no soundproof, that made some noise from other rooms even outside at the late night. So, thank you for your service. ❤

Excellent room. The room is small but very well kept. Bathroom and toilet is clean. Staff at the counter is very friendly and are always ready to give out suggestions on where to walk around. One of the cheapest (with acceptable cleanliness) hotels in the area.

Location is not bad, the room we staying is different building. Room & bathroom is clean. The facility missing water dispenser have to go main building. The only issue translucent windows between room & bathroom unable to block the light. I love to sleep until late afternoon, the sunlight penetrated both windows. Vicinity you can find few shop open until 0300/0400am like ramen restaurant if you don't like 7-Eleven or Family Mart. Walking distance to nearest MRT. *Take note, air-con setting should not be lower than 24, missing dehumidifier machine.

Staff and cleanliness are a problem. All the staff are lazy robots, sitting around watching korean dramas, couldn’t care less about the guests. After inspecting the room, I found dirty cups, hair on the floor in the bathroom and a bath mat with hair in it. This kind of cleanliness is unacceptable. Told the staff about the dirty cups and mat, poor thing had to get off her seat and lazily walked somewhere and came back with 2 dirty cups with sticky residue on the bottom and a new bath mat. Absolutely pathetic. Staff have no interest in your comfort, no customer service skills whatsoever. Literally just robots that don’t smile and can barely say hi. Do yourself a favour, don’t stay here. They don’t deserve your money. 1 star because the bed was comfortable.

My experience in Colormix Hotel was great! The room was always kept clean throughout the duration of my stay which was 5 days. The beds were super comfortable and clean. The staff are super helpful in telling us the directions like which mrt to ride, or which way to go etc. The TV is overall great! Mix with Taiwanese and hollywood channels like HBO. The air conditioning was very cool. Though the only problem was the lack of toiletries which was missing a toilet paper. But overall great experience! Definitely gonna stay here again if ever I'm in Taipei again! :)
