雲飛語言文化 Conquer Language - East District

Conquer Language is a very good language learning center which provides various courses, including Vietnamese, Indonesian, German, Spanish and French, as well as Mandarin Chinese classes for int'l friends in Hsinchu. They do offer kids and teenagers Spanish courses and Mandarin Chinese summer/winter camp. Besides, Teacher Training courses are also offered. Very useful and effective methods for learning languages; hence, you can apply what you just learnt in real life immediately. Ms.Yolanda is a very competent teacher. I highly recommend this language learning centre!

My wife and I went there to enroll our son for Chinese classes. Initially all seemed well. Unfortunately my son suffers from epilepsy and when the issue of his attendance came up, we mentioned it. He is currently under medication and his seizures are under controll however, we mentioned that in the event of a seizure where advance notice is not possible, like if he his on his way to the center and has a seizure, would they be able to re-schedule his class. All we heard was an emphatic 'No'. My point here is that I dont think its fair to penalise a student or parents for a medical condition. Im sure if they wanted to they could've offered another solution or an alternative, especially when the fees for which we were reminded a hundred times, had to be transfered as soon as possible before the class started in advance. Overall, I was disappointed that a place which seems to be bustling with positive energy would be so closed to offering solutions to medically challenged kids. I think their business module should change to be able to include stidents who have medical issues but would like to learn and not be shown the door. To top it all, I think Yolanda Yu, in order to get us out of the office, promised to call before the dragon boat festival as we had literally confirmed the classes and just wanted them to think about a possible alternative to help a child learn, who unfortunately has a medical condition. But, its been almost three weeks since our meeting... I still am waiting for that call. So much for being a profesional run unit. This is an honest review and I hope it helps change and allows for a fairer practise with business' to be more inclusive and unerstanding of children with medical consitions. Afterall, teaching used to be a vocation...or was it?

I passed over 80 hours with Zhong Huimin. I enjoyed my learning time and it was fun learning. I loved to learn Chinese because of her. she has very interesting style which forces you talk in very good way. OMG , she is so patient also. I love her, if I want to learn chinese further for sure will learn with her wherever I go.

I attended Conquer for 30 hours of Mandarin language training over an 8 week period. The owners were very accommodating to my special condensed training schedule request. My teacher was Ms. Zhang. She was a delight - pleasant, witty, creative, very experienced, patient, professional and deeply cared about my learning. It was pleasure.
