Costco Taichung Store

Now it's kind of inconvenient to park motorbikes around main entrance cos the police might come and give you a ticket, other than that, it's the same as usual. Variety of products increased. The store is quite crowded and some people would just stand in the middle of an aisle to taste the sample food. Not very good

Much better Costco than the ones in Australia!!! But we always visit early in the morning when it just opens, otherwise you will have to wait for parking (every time we drive past, there is always a queue...) The produce is fresh and there are good varieties. Wish I can bring the sushi, the hotpot pack and the ramen pack home...

The photo is from Costco in Taichung, taken in the food court where you buy hotdogs and pizzas and such. At the front there are about 7 or 8 (maybe more) queues for food, each with their own cashier. The shopping area upstairs is a total traffic jam, so much so that I abandoned my cart and went solo. I believe this is the 1st or 2nd busiest Costco in the world right now. My favorite part was seeing so many families coming here just for the food court. To them it's a restaurant where they can bring their families to experience Western food at very affordable prices. And get this, the pizza in this Costco was better than what I've had in the States! An experience not to miss if you're in the area. I took off one star because of what everyone else is saying, which is it's super busy. If you needed to just grab a few things and get out, it can be quite frustrating. It's definitely not your typical in and out grocery store. It's a place you will need to plan ahead and prepare a couple hours I'd say.

If you are hungry and craving some carbs, i think costco is the best..there is a cafeteria inside the store premises to dine in..❤❤❤❤

The parking lot is very good and clean. Inside they have all the Costco goods you can desire. I went on a Saturday afternoon and of course it was very crowded. This took us more than 30 minutes just to queue for payment. This is the only downside. I should try in any other random days of the week and I'm sure that the purchasing experience will be than perfect!

Variety of sushi to try. Already peeled half cooked eggs in a bag. I never see it anywhere else. So convenient and delicious.

It's a Costco, no matter it's in the States or Taiwan.... it's busy. Still has Kirkland Brand, roughly same price. Chinese version of most American products. Some Japanese items. Food Court inexpensive but good. As of June 2022, can't eat in the store.

Location is convenient and has great wholesale deals as always. But, quite smaller than other stores and parking is bit of a problem
