★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A decent teppanyaki restaurant, in that they use relatively high quality ingredients. However, I wouldn't go so far as to say that the quality is the very best either. The service here is great, the staff are all very friendly and attentive.
I found the menu to be quite strange. Some of the more traditional dishes, such as the steak, are prepared well. The problem is that the majority of the dishes aren't seasoned well enough, or have simply taking a wrong "creative" turn. For example, the chef prepared tuna sashimi wrapped in melted cheese - very inventive? Yes. But I would not say that it was a pleasant culinary experience at all.
While I very much enjoyed some of the dishes here, I was also disappointed by some of the flavors that didn't make sense. Overall I'd say it's a restaurant worth a visit, and is a good place to entertain for business occasions.
