The backpacker room is at the 6th and 7th floor, and the highest floor elevator reached is 5th floor. Hot spring and swimming pool are awesome! I would highly recommend here for those searching 5-star service with backpacker cost.

Good space for the money! I last minute decided to go to the balloon festival and all the rooms were booked out. It's a bit removed from everything and a little dated but I'm glad they had availability haha

I have stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, and unfortunately there were a few things which made my stay at this hotel reasonably unpleasant. I hope that perhaps it could be better for people who might stay in the future. Of course, I will start with the things I found satisfactory. It is very good to have coffee and tea and water provided daily when the room is cleaned! And the cleaning staff are friendly! The breakfast was managed well enough (but on a couple occasions the labeling for the green and black tea was mixed up to the point a person would have to accept it is just random). Unfortunately there were many things that were not quite as good. First, the room itself had a large carpet on the floor, and it was covered by a large number of stains which varied in size, shade and intensity making the idea of walking in the room without shoes impossible. The walls also had many stains and spatter marks, but not nearly as bad as the floor. The bathroom's white tiles were reasonably clean, but the shower area contained a plethora of red, black (and sometimes green) bacteria which grew freely and joyfully in the corners and cracks. I had to use a brush to clean the floor personally, but I could only clean half of the mould, the other half of the mould was too well established, and it was able to resist my brushing. Perhaps the most unpleasant aspect of my stay was the sound proofing. The room above me perhaps had children which every night for an hour after bedtime I had the opportunity to hear running (stomping) and jumping around. In the morning I had the added opportunity to hear tour guides shouting for people to wake up at the very crack of dawn. Now I do find it incredible that children running around overhead, and tour guides shouting in the hall could be louder than the Chinese New Year fireworks outside. A person might find it interesting that the hotel has 'direct elevator to vehicle access' in the garage, because the number 12 parking spot has vehicles blocking the elevator door to the garage. It is one of the few instances I returned from a holiday more tired than when I began the holiday.
