Crowne Plaza Tainan, an IHG Hotel

The hotel was well-organized, and the staffs are welcoming and friendly. Since I was traveling with a 1-year-old child, I really appreciate the hotel's cleanliness. One of the downsides is that the hotel is a bit distant from the city center and its location is yet developed. However, this also comes with the benefits of being less crowded and with the opportunity of some natural sightseeing. I've booked the stay with rewards night. The room was upgraded but did not come with breakfast. Overall speaking, this is a worth recommended hotel.

It USDED TO be the best hotel until my last visit. Cost reduction of 'Element' cafeteria affected your quality of foods too badly. It is not only because of ingredient quality but also because of a lack in the kitchen staff. To whom it may concern, Please check your SOP and whether your staff in the restaurant follows or not. They are now frying bacon as a whole piece !!! It used to be provided by several types in perfect condition. Please remember this is just one example of many others. I just don't want to waste my time explaining everything to you here. Don't hide yourself behind the COVID situation. This is not just a cost rationalization. If you want to maintain your reputation just like before, I strongly suggest you check the process and the quality seriously. And I have talked to many friends that you are the best hotel in Taiwan. But I am going to back down my opinion about you. It takes years to build your reputation but only takes seconds to destroy it.

From the moment I arrived until my last minute for departure, Paco from Concierge was extremely welcoming and always offering to help! Also Vicky from the Front Desk was super nice and accommodating. Overall nice place in a chill location near the beach. Great breakfast. Only thing is the bikes they lend can be a bit outdated and may need some maintenance. Besides that, highly recommended.

I like the river view and the balcony so much! overall the service is professional. the bedding is also very good that i had really great sleeps during my stay. Just one thing i would like to comment is, the room was a little dusty, seems had been vacant for a few days.

The room is better than our expected, every staff is very friendly and attentive to taking care for us, swimming pool equipment and environment are great. This hotel is highly recommended to holiday friends, they have a good view, good facilities and space.

Great hotel with terrific view. The manager Paul was excellent, he was able to resolved my concern in a prompt and professional manner. Also the front manager Wendy was also very friendly and courteous when i checked in. Superior service coupled with amazing facilities make this Crown hotel my top destination in Tainan. Thank you thank you thank you! I also want to give a big thank u to William Li at the concierge service. I got soaking wet on way back from my morning bike ride, William ran out to give me a drying towel and to check up on me to ensure im doing ok. Simply great service and care. I love this place!

It was our first time staying at this hotel. Vicky at the front desk checked us in with big welcoming smiles and friendly service. As a platinum member, I requested for a room upgrade and before I knew it, the hotel already recognized our status and had prepared for a room upgrade for us. I requested for a step stool in our room for our two small children prior to our check in, and it was already prepared in our room when we walked in. The room was very well designed and we enjoyed the welcoming fruit plate and snacks. What I was truly amazed was how comfortable the bed was. Everything in the room worked well and without flaws. Housekeeping staff attended to our requests perfectly. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the 37 deg C kiddy pool and we are extremely happy and appreciate with how clean the pool area was. We enjoyed the selection from the morning breakfast buffet and also enjoyed the dinner we had at the Japanese restaurant next door. Wendy checked us out, also with big smiles and friendly service. We had accidentally left behind our daughter's stuff animal and the hotel had found it after a short phone call two days after we checked out. We are waiting to receive our forgotten item. Perhaps one thing that would surprise me even more is if the hotel took the initiative to let us know we had left behind a stuff animal after we checked out. Overall we are thoroughly impressed with this hotel, its amenities, and services.
