Not far from the Youkeng Waterfall, about 500 meters, follow the entrance path, and there are waterfalls to watch and take photos.

I have known the Jiu-level Waterfall/Youkeng Waterfall on the Pingxi Youkeng Ancient Road a long time ago, but because the location of the Jiu-level Waterfall is beside the Pingxi Line Railway and the water volume is usually very small, I have never been interested. Recently, the strong typhoon Tammei Circulation brought rain and then turned north. The weather was fine on weekends and holidays. So I want to seize the opportunity to visit the Jiu-level Waterfall when the waterfall has abundant water after the rain. We plan to walk from Sandiaoling to Dahua this time (please see the route/time below for the itinerary and time). The train is the first choice for the transportation to Jiu Ti Waterfall. During holidays, the Pingxi Line Railway is very popular and there are many tourists. In order to avoid the crowded Pingxi line carriages on the return journey, deliberately get up early to take the 4138 Zhongli→Suao shuttle bus and depart from Taipei at 06:21. This train can get to Sandiaoling Station, which has no external roads, in one hour.

The only railway canyon in Taiwan, the tourist railway Jingtong line runs along the winding Keelung River bank, caves. There are many waterfalls and few tourists.
